James Spackman is a publisher and consultant. He works with Profile Books in London to set up Pursuit, a new cycling imprint. His consultancy work covers book marketing, presentation and strategy.
Spackman started in publishing at Bloomsbury, before moving on to John Murray, Hodder & Stoughton and Osprey Group. His roles have ranged across sales, marketing, general management and editorial.
