Fahad Almamari is an Emirati scholar and writer specializing in Arabic Literature and Heritage. He is currently the Director of General Libraries of the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority.
Almamari has written and published numerous books including Hallmarks of Emirati Poets, The Book of Winds and Breezes, about Emirati Heritage, and a Collection of Wise Sayings and Proverbs.
He also published Rescores of Traditional Poetry in the UAE and The Famous Knights of Andalusia, which will be published soon.
Almamari oversees the Project of Dubai heritage archiving. He is also a columnist in Heritage Magazine.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic language.
